About

I'm a computational biologists using single-cell genomics data to understand human complex traits and diseases. I am an EMBO and Helen Hay Whitney post-doctoral fellow in the [Pritchard Lab](https://web.stanford.edu/group/pritchardlab/home.html) at Stanford University and a visiting fellow in the [Marson Lab](https://www.marsonlab.org/) at the Gladstone Institutes. Previously, I obtained my PhD at the University of Cambridge, working between the groups of [Sarah Teichmann](http://www.teichlab.org/) at the Wellcome Sanger Institute and [John Marioni](https://www.ebi.ac.uk/research/marioni) at the EMBL European Bioinformatics Institute. My PhD research focused on quantifying differences between biological conditions in single-cell genomics data, optimizing the use of cell atlases, and characterizing disease-related cell states, with a focus on tissue immunology. My work relies on open science, sharing of resources and know-how. I am part of the core team of the [scverse consortium](https://scverse.org/) of foundational tools for analysis of omics data in life sciences, where I am work on community outreach and events. ---- ```{toctree} :hidden: true :maxdepth: 1 :titlesonly: true publications CV ```
